Ok a while ago I installed Xebian onto my Xbox and completely formatted the HDD to run linux on it. Now I realized that was rather dumb and I want to remod it with XBMC and whatnot. So were do I go now? I'm guessing that I just have to reformat the hard drive and put the modded files back on there. I have a Duox2 with Cromwell on one bank and something else on the other.

use the non cromwell bank, boot slayers/aid then build the hd from scratch

edit: obviously format the partitions first though

Indeed, one of those discs should be able to do the job for you. They have formatting tools and so forth on them.

Just note that all partitions larger then 256gb specifically need to be formatted with XBPartitioner.

Will those discs actually run? When I installed Linux I also reformatted the drive just for Linux which I'm assuming got rid of the X,Y,+Z partitions. Don't Xbox programs need those?

They'll run happily. It's the same as installing an unformatted disk.
