Two questions in this post.

I have a xenon that is pre 8xxx kernel and I planned to JTAG it but I would like the ability to go on xbox live if possible. Is this a possibility? If i understand correctly the Cygnos360 switches between the two NANDs allowing for two different dashboards.

Also, are backups still detectable by M$ in xbox live?

Sorry guys, I've tried searching but I keep running into things dating 2008 and such.

Thanks

1.yes
2.yes
3.yes
4.learn how to count please.

1.b. Jtag's were not designed with "stealth" in mind, be glad they even exist. The "stealthing" of a Jtag will never happen. You should expect to get banned with a Jtag around 15minutes to 3 days. You can "unban" a Jtag, by cloning the keyvault.bin from a different console, onto your Jtag. Yes, you could intentionally get your buddy's unmodded box banned, if you steal his keyvault. Isn't that what friends are for? Oh I'm sorry, friends/ex-gf... I get them confused.

2.b. Yes, but I don't know if that would protect you from getting banned or not. I would assume no. The box is MODDED, I'm sure something in ONE of those multiple circuits could be detected by MS.

You MOD = you get banned, stop hoping for something else, it's never going to happen. I understand the wanting to protect yourself thing, but ultimately there is only one answer. Do not mod your box, or you will be banned.
