I've been trying to get help since November....my mod chip installer is useless, and posts in the pinned thread really don't get answered...so I'll try and get it out in the open better.

I got my Xbox modded, and bought a new hard drive....put it in.

I used the X3 dash (bios w.e) to unlock the hdd, and went into "admin" through ftp and put the new eeprom in so I can play live.

Then I overwrote the old one (have it on my cpu hdd still) and locked the hdd back up.

Go online to play, it can't connect to Xbox-Live.

I get:

W:0000-000B
X: 0000-F001
Y: 00C2-03E0
Z: 0000-0000

I know what 00C2 means, but searching the xyz codes thread I couldn't figure out how to fix my problem....my region settings appear to be correct, but I also don't know where to check them besides Avalaunch.

Can anybody PLEASE help!

Ok, also to add more just looked at the two eeproms using config magic....the region settings/dvd kit zone are both "1". The only difference is the online key, mac adress, etc. which I'm assuming is susposed to be that way.

Wow, ok.

I loaded my old eeprom back on so that I can start from scratch....then I loaded up a second new eeprom (my installer gave me two, but niether work) and the DVD Kit Zone was 0, not 1. However, when I changed it to 1, tried to connect to Live sitll the same codes and stuff.

Now I'm officially beat.....I also loaded the eeproms in LiveInfo....which says all three are v1.1 (x3 says my xbox is v 1.2/1.3....but LiveInfo doesn't even have those available.)



Trying to figure this out, no luck.
