Since there has (and never will be) any updated Drivers enabling Force Feedback when the wheel is used on PC, could it be possible to hardwire the wheel to eliminate the wireless receiver, and if so is there any chance this will make the force feedback work on the PC.

Another possibility is that the chip that drives the force feedback motor has a 'sleep' function. Could it be the case that M$ have used this to disable FF on the PC because they fear the stronger effects in PC racing sims might damage or break the wheel? I could test this out but I dont think my crappy PC will handle any racing games.

I'd like to find the why on this in order to open the door to a possible hack to get around it.
