i dont know, you rember how long it took him inbetwine the xbox samsung drive hack to the 360 one, if the drives are almost identicle like you said then it should be a matter of days (by the weekend definlty), althow i dont see how they could be (factoring in that they where speicaly made for the 360) because there made by 2 compleatly different companys, however i'm getting my 360 back from repair today and i just know its gonna be a hatichi so i will be awaiting the release.

You dont need 47DH because you can upgrade or downgrade the firmware as you please, it should say on the top of the drive

Also, it might be worth checking out SeventhSon's post on the xh thread, as there is gonna be a snag with the different revisions of this drive, so if you've got anything other than a 47DH, then Commodore's hack probably wont work for you, at least not in the initial stages anyway.

This drive is a pain in the arse.

I havbe a feeling as he has done one, the second should proceed fast. I think he would have had a look at the firmware before posting :-)

I got mine December 2nd (UK) from gameplay.com and my drive has a manufacture date of October 2005

You know what? stfu. You want it faster, go do it yourself. The guy is the only one that has done something concrete/visible so far for the scene and you are gonna shit all over him because he commented on when he might have it complete? And if he doesn't have it done, what then? You are gonna shit all over him again? Why does he need attention? He already has tonnes of attention from his current accomplishments.
