Is that a 2nd shipment? or still the same count as the original sony batch thats being sent out for the 17th? Also did the manager say anything about how many they will be handling or how they will go about it? BTW thanks alot for the info already.. good stuff

The one near me said they will have them for sale this Friday, I asked 2 different people. They said it wouldn't be very many tho. I would check with each store, maybe not everystore is getting them.

That's why I also set up a business membership with them last night, my company even said they would reimburse me the $35. Even so with limited numbers I'm still going to go wait to make sure I get one.

The manager said they will not be getting any until either the night before Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving Day. He also said they will be getting 50-100 systems.

I work at sam's club ( it sucks i know) and no one was sure up until a bit into last week, most clubs will be recieving a small shipement around 5-10 at most on launch date... luckly i have my badge and vest so i can go in at 6am and buy mine before all the people waiting outside

THey needed the fed ID# and some proof of identity..business card...etc... I wonder if Optics could confirm that people with business memberships will be able to get their console first?

For the Xbox360 launch they let everyone waiting in line in at 7am regardless of whether or not you were a business member. At least that's how they did it at my store.

They also got 20 premium consoles (and no cores) while the Walmart and Best Buy next door got 15premium and 24premiums respectively

EDIT: nevermind I just called my Sam's Club and they assured me that they are getting a big fat 0 at launch. I guess only certain Sam's Clubs are getting them and my store wasn't one of them.

I'd recommend calling to find out before you spend any time waiting in line... you may be waiting a while.

Hey Twisted, I recalled from the allocation thread that you requested stores in NH which is coincidently where I am. So was wondering which Sams club told you they wern't getting any? I really hope they didn't lie to me because I had everything planned out already. Thanks.
