Hello.

I have encountered some problems with my Xbox360 after i flashed it.
In the Xbox theres a LG Hitachi reader.
Anyways the flash itself succeded with 100% Complete, the box started up without problem.
I Was about to play my burnt game (Portal) and the game started loading.
Suddenly this box apperas asking me to update the game which i did and is started updating
and suddenly it frooze.
I turned off the xbox tried to start it again and got the 3 red lights error. (1,3,4) Error Code 0102.

I tried to reboot and start it again. Same problem. Borrowed a samsung drive from a friend and the box startedas usual. We then switched back to my reader, and the game started loading.
The game asked me to resume the update ,which i did. Updated without a problem.
I enetered the game meny, at this point i choose to quit and shut the box down.
The box then frooze. I turned off and rebooted. Same error code.

I tried the towel trick and it actually worked, but when i tried to play a game POTC the box hanged and frooze. Same error code.

Any tips and solutions for me?

Thanks guys
Chris

Your 3rrod has nothing to do with your drive hack. It is just a coinsidence that it happened at the same time.

Also you can not just swap a DVD drive without first flashing your Hitachi's drive key to the new drive and spoofing it as a Hitachi.

Yes, I figured. Maybe it has something to do with the GPU or such. I though of trying that X-clamp method lots of people succeded with. Might be worth a shot.

I know I cant swap the DVD drive just like that, but it was strange it worked afterwards. Might have been another coincidence, haha.

Like 1 hour ago I restored the firmware on my DVD drive just to see what would happen afterwards, but to my great disappointment it's still the same f*cking error.

I'm like 95% sure that the flashing did work afterall. So I have to try other things now.

Do you guys have any proposals for me? As I said I guess that X-clamp method is the next thing to try. Any objections?

Thanks!

Nope, that is about your only solution at this point. Good luck and hope it works for you.
