ok so i got the chip in and everything is good. I turn the box on with the chip turned on. I get a distorted picture of the cromwell screen. the screen has multiple tears in it and goes through out the whole screen. I then reboot with flash protected turned off. same thing happens. screen with tears. Then i turn the chip off and it goes to the MS dash. Why is it doing this when i have the chip on?

Edit: btw when i turn the chip off and goes to the ms dash, theres no tears at all, the screen is just fine. also im using component cables if that matters. am going to use normal composite now also but dunno why this would matter.

glad i can help now if only i could get help with mine

you dont by chance have a spare1.2-1.5 psu laying around because i got home today and went to play my new crystal that i put together and it turns on for a split second and shuts off
