Install the RGH chip (which he himself will provide)
Extract CPU and DVD-drive keys
Set the console boot times (whatever that means)

So, installing Freestyle Dash, Xexmenu, Dash Launch, setting up the FTP and all other software etc would be something I'd have to do myself. I suppose they're not too complicated.. Does using Dash Launch basically means replacing the original dashboard with the Freestyle Dash ?
Dashlaunch installs to your onboard nand and will boot into a homebrew dashboard of your choice, provided you have set up the .xex path in launch.ini
If you provide a hard drive with it, he should be able to install dashlaunch and freestyle dash so that it will boot right into it.
