MY Xbox is having a problem when ftpng b/c when i ftp via filezilla the fo;e stops and the xbox freezes. It is a major pain and its ntot my box b/c its my friends too.

I realize this is important to you, but please only bump once a day as per the rules.

Are you sure your version of filezilla is up to date/complete? Have you tried FTPing with any other apps? Does the xbox freeze any other time i.e. when playing a game? What version bios are you using as well as modchip?

I would try to ftp into your xbox using Internet Explorer. in the address bar, type
ftp://(Your Xbox's IP)
Then it will pop up with a login screen, you should enter the username and password that you set in the dashboard settings, if you haven't changed any settings, then just enter in xbox for username and xbox for password. Alternatively, kinda quicker, you can just enter in the username and password in the address, like so...
ftp://username:password@192.168.0.2
Hope that works. If that works then its the ftp program you are using...

ok, for starters, get flashfxp. then try again.
90% of ppl around here use flashfxp for ftp transfers, as its a good, solid program with bugger all flaws

sounds broken. during the trial it should work immediately and after that you wait. maybe they changed this in a later release.

whats 30 seconds compared to it wont work.
