Yeah, I've connected to Xbox Live in the past, but now I want to upgrade my Hard Drive to 250GB.

After reading all of the marriage theory posts, what I'm going to need to do is obtain a new Eeprom for my v1.0 xbox to go with my new hdd. I haven't tried logging into Xbox Live with my old Eeprom, so that's not banned yet, but Eeprom's can only be attached to one hard drive if they connect to Live.

So since my old Eeprom is married to my stock hdd, I can't use it on Live without the stock hdd.

So basically, I just want to make sure I have this all right before I do anything: In order for me to connect to Xbox Live with an upgraded hdd, I would neeed a new Eeprom as well.

Am I right?
