I have somehow misplaced my power cable that splits power between the chip and the DVD drive. Will my chip still work without this cable? I was told it also draws power through the motherboard, but I am not sure. If it will not work, and ideas as to where I could find/purchase a replacement?

360 version: unknown
You only need this wire for a 1.6 installation - so unless you have a 1.6 xbox, your chip will work perfectly well without it.
