Hello, This is my first post but I have been scouring the forums for days now trying to get my setup right, and gotten some great tips thus far. I cant seem to find one for my current problem and the last (for now) part to having my system ideal

the set up

my computer is upstairs and has a hard line to my wireless router. its a G series so its only putting out 2.5ghz. my 360 is downstairs with the tv with the wireless adapter.

My computer has now installed on it Tversity, Wmp 11 and the Zune software but currently WMP and Tversity is shutoff from the run->services menu in xp along with windows firewall ics service... that had to be shutoff due to a weird firewall problem i had.

Currently sharing with the zune software.

ok so what happens is this.... if i run a test, everything works fine. I can select the pc... i can see my music and photos. when i go to play a song, i get the first 20-50 seconds of music and the last 1` sec then the first of the next song and so on.

If i choose to look at pics, i can see all my folders, i can see the first page of thumbnails and those photos, but if i scroll down, i get x's.

It seems like its a bandwidth filter or something but my laptop (yes this problem happens with the laptop on or off) streams just fine from the computer so i cant imagine its the router.

My laptop has media center, so im currently installing the software to link the laptop to the 360 and see if the same problem arises.

Any Suggestions?

thanks
Nef
