Hello,

This is my first time modding an xbox and I have a question about swapping cases. I just ordered a transparent blue case that comes with everything but the bottom piece and I'm wondering, do you have to remove the front panel/faceplate to install the clear front panel/faceplate?

I already removed the top piece. uhh.gif

so your asking if in order to install the new one if u have to remove the old one? like u just want to put the clear over it? if i understand correctly then yes, u have to remove the first panel to put a new one on.

I've been trying to remove the faceplate for sometime now and I read the tutorials and watched the video.

Do you have any tips removing the faceplate?

Is it easier if I remove the mobo?

I removed everything but the mobo.

Umm no , the faceplate is kinda attached at the bottom front you just have to fiddle with it and it will pop off
