Hello,

today I have a XBOX with 40GB hard drive installed. I spare one hdd from 160GB and try to make a xbox hdd. I have eeprom and use XBOXHDM 1.9 to build from scratch and after that use ndure 3.1.

After start, yellow ring turn on but Uleashed splash screen flashes over and over (like some kind of restart). I think that option 1, build hdd from scratch make one partition from 150GB. IS this ok? Where I make mistake?

Regards

download hexen "heimdalls xbox engineering disk"
burn to dvd-r at 4x or slower
put it in the xbox and turn the xbox on.
Wait
go to Softmod tools
go to Oneclick softmod install
go to krazies ndure 1.1.1
chose SC exploit

follow instructions on screen.
do not turn off xbox.

should fix it

Ty I will try tomorrow when I come home from job. I made my first disk alone (40GB) and I use same steps for my big HDD but it just wont work. I was thinking that partition size is problem (I use softmode, I dont have chip) and my F partition is 150Gb (I read somewhere that max size is 137GB without custom bios) and that partition size was made by xboxhdm and with option build from scratch.
Can this partition size make a problem such as reboot (not classic reboot, just Unleash logo repeat to appear and dissapear instead of booting into dash)?

hexen should fix your problems.
its all updated.
the disk size should not be the issue as the 150GB will go to F.
provided you update the softmod with hexen you should be good to go.
after you have done that you may need to run xbpartitioner to allocate all of the 150Gb to F drive. but the cluster sizes should be fine up to 250gb
