So I shelled out $70 on their replacement PCB to enable USB flashing without opening my console. Waited for LT3 release and installed.

Off the get go. its the wrong IC. its a 1339E which they are proud to show as every other chipset has its silkscreen filed off..... it should be a 1335.

anyway I spent 2 hr installing and screwing with their shitty software, to find out, I need to use SATA anyway as LT+3.0 is NOT supported with their shit software! WTF is this bullshit?? To use lizard or JF I need to connect via SATA and open my console anyway?? what happened to that USB dongle thing working? Having to power on my slim to flash firmware is NOT cool either!

Guess I just wasted 4 hr of my life, as I got to reinstall my original board now, but my wires are too short!!

Thanks for nothing team matrix.

Guess I will be going the TX route from now on out. least they use the same 1335 chipset and don't say USB flashing works when it clearly don't.

I just updated my dvd from LT Plus 2.0 to LT Plus 3.0 in less than 3 minutes without opening the console and that includes the time to download the software biggrin.gif.

You just need to download the software from their website, unzip it, connect the pc to the usb programmer and press the "write ixtreme" button. That's all, no messing with sata ports, jungle flasher, opening the console and all all that other stuff.

Why would you need to reinstall the original board at all to update the firmware?!? uhh.gif
You only need the original board the first time to extract the key and the other data related to your drive (and even in that case you don't really need to connect it to the dvd drive, you can just use the pcb by itself). Affter that you don't ever need to touch it again.

wow i think you should perhaps leave modding if such a simple mod is beyond you

the 1339 chipset works perfectly fine!! what makes you think it doesnt?

wires are too short?

why didnt you just desolder them from the orig board instead of cutting them?

simple mod done completely wrong!!

also made yourself look very foolish with your childish rant.

team matrix havent produced anything wrong, you just didnt bother your hole to read up on it and now your pissed coz why exactly?

Freedom Manager V3.0 Released

The Freedom Manager V3.0 compatible with LT+ 3.0 has been released.

To use it simply unzip it, run it, and press "WRITE IXTREME FW", the Manager will take care of all.

That's as easy as it comes when using the Freedom PCB smile.gif .

You can download it from our Download section, or just click HERE.
