Launch DVD does nothing, Tray reads empty

When I launch into the default Xbox screen it starts to read and everything is great.
Everything else seems to be ok, I just ftp'ed into the xbox.

Did the 007 Exploit using HexenGamesave to do it.

Damnit, scratch that ... it says that my xbox can't reconize this disc. What the heck ... it was working fine before the mod.

Well, oddly ... and I don't know why .. but removed cd drive, cleaned the guys and laser. Put together, everything runs. ODD! but I'm happy.

Is there a fix for the cd tray getting stuck if it doesn't have a cd?

Modding an Xbox doesn't change its ability to read discs at all. Cleaning the DVD mechanism and the laser from time to time is always a good idea.....

Read this post and the two posts it links to for solutions to the sticking DVD drive tray problem.

Sure, but from reading a bunch of dics earlier, to then modding it and having it completely not even register that its opening or closing a tray 30 minutes later, I mean nothing seems a bit to odd to me. I don't really care, its working now, but just saying 8)
