me and a friend went half on a 20 pack MIS and the ones he burned on his computer don't work on his 360 but work on mine and the ones i burned on my computer are the same work on my 360 but not on his he has a hitachi and i have a samsung drive is there something we could be doing wrong only thing i can think of is not to use 20 pack only 15 pack

I'm not sure what you mean by buying a 15 pack instead. It is more than likely he just has an eye in his that is worse than yours. His best bet would be to buy a new eye for his. They're like $9 on ebay.

8x DVD+R DL Verbatim. 5 Pack for $10. I bought 2 today. Singapore guaranteed in purple, blue box with jewel cases.

Also, if u want a great burner, the Pioneer DVR-1910LS, got it today, burnt 8x 360 game in 8 minutes, got a hitachi, LG drive great, worth the $75

So I bought another 20 pack from NetSoftMedia.com and so far all the backups work fine except one. I was playing the game and got the Dirty Disc error. Check the bottom of the disc and sure enough the dye color was not evenly the same close to the center of the disk. Looked like a circular,purple water puddle.

I'm not saying the site is bad or anything, but so far 19 out of 20 from both packs (assuming this current pack does not give me anymore problems)

That happened to me with my first GTA IV back up.. how annoying is that? I had to burn another copy.

Ordered some Mediarange DVD+R DL 8x. So far they are working fine at least better than the crappy Verbatims from India...
and they only cost 1.19€($1.80) Verbatims cost 3.99€($6.90)...

Comes out to around $40USD incl shipping to US. about $10US cheaper than netsoftmedia. Too bad I don't live in the states.

That's a hell of a deal you pointed out. But I'm afraid of the quality, some of the recent comments have stated they're getting nothing but coasters. Possibly India made discs?

How do I find out if the DVD+R DL is made in India or Singapore? I ordered 95310 from Meritline but they gave me Spindle Servo Failure every burn attempt grr.gif
