This weekend i tried my latest universal glitch board on slim and got the following results:

1 - 25s
2 - 17s
3 - 23s
4 - 20s
5 - 17s

Tried with 330pf since i didn't have any 270 pf

no fat to try out..so im just guessing its working

Those are some nice boot times, and your pcb design is nice aswell. Do you mind posting the .sch and .brd files along with a component list?

i used jtag tool nandpro2.0b I think it is.
270pF cap
ecc generated with python fc'd to one gen'd with bestPig 1.1 - identical checksums so flash gen should be OK.
pin 15 was pulsing 3v3 when the processor resets as per 1.0 debug for slims
glitches in 5-20 sec every boot.

Since you are booting the system RAW, and it supports HDMI.. you can use ANY video connector. If you leave the DVD drive disconnected the power light will pulse until it boots. If your front LED goes from flashing - solid the system glitched.

On other hand, have a jasper here I cannot get to go. Tried new 1.1 flash, no dice. haven't got the new jed flashed yet though to the coolrunner, only thing I can see causing a problem!

tried 2.0b, a bigger ground cable and disconnecting pin 35, i get the same; after 5mins it still hasn't booted.

pin 7 and 15 stay 1.78v regardless of it resetting.

i will try rebuilding the board just encase i missed something.

kinda odd that i dident have problems with the jasper yet you are.

hello i am new to the forum and would like to say thanks for all of the usefull information here and those involved.

I have a question the slim tutorial is clear to me up to programming the clpd i have a coolrunner2, ls1 jtag cable. dumb question first the clpd only needs to be powered on using 3.3v and a ground connection. once programmed using trinity.jed it is then that you solder connections to the slim mb correct?

also i have lifted the small pad on c3b10 should i solder to the trace then connect to the resistor to fix it?

3v3 on pin 26 and 35.
1v8 on 15 and 7.
gnd on 4, 17 and 25.

ya c3b10 needs to be connected to the line that runs just left of j2c3 after it comes out of r3b15.

i increased the 3v3 pipe to 26 gage solid core and it still wouldn't boot, i got 0031 after about 2 mins (i was checking voltages, not sure if that had anything to do with it) i rebooted and it still dosent work but i dont get the red light.


edit: can someone confirm pin 7 is 1v8 for slim.
also that a ceramic w/o polarity 270pf cap works for j6>gnd?

could be a lot of things, whats the error code?

hold sync button, press eject button, it will flash the first number of the code all 4 lights is 0, 1 light is 1, 2 lights is 2 and 3 lights is 3, press the eject button while holding sync another 3 times to get the 4 digit code.

I have found a good chinese supplier at 5$/pcs witch provide me some MT's.
I let you know if i am going to get from them and you are interested. Shipping takes 7 days with EMS or DHL.
