I heard it need to be flash before i can using the LG drive, Anyone know what software and how to flash the LG drive? I got the key of both drives, but i don't know how to flash them.

Read the Jungleflasher tutorial

I don't think you can use Hitachi 78/79 drives to spoof as Lite-ons. Or Maybe it was Lite-ons spoofed as 78/79. IDK? I know there is or was some kind of problem there, so I avoid doing them in either direction. I know a cheap $25 new BenQ can be spoofed as anything. smile.gif

Open up Jungleflasher there is a link to the tutorial inside the program. It also usually comes with/in the same zip when you download jungleflasher from somewhere.

But overall the process is simple.

Hook Drive A up to the pc, dump the key/firmware from it. (Drive A= old or bad drive)
SAVE THE BIN!!!!!!!!!!
Hook Drive B up, get it into vendor mode.
Hit the firmware tab.
Open Source firmware (the source firmware is the dump from Drive A)
Open target firmware (Select the firmware appropriate for whatever kind of drive, Drive B is.)
Click on the "Spoof source to target button"
Then flash drive B
