I tried to do a search for "playing a dvd with xbmc" and got no results. So instead of asking I started to look through the forum and read all of the posts that mentioned DVD in the title. Well after getting through like 60 pages of topics and trying everything that was mentioned, mainly trying to run the video_ts.ifo or just playing the vob files with a playlist, and it still not working I decided that I would just ask and get it over with.

What is happening is that if I try to play the video_ts.ifo file, it just kinda freezes for a sec and then I am able to do everthing agian, but no movie. If I try to play any of the vob files, the xbox just freezes and I have to restart it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

P.S it is being streamed from one of my computers, just incase that makes a diference

Feel free to look at the dvd player sourcecode and fix it....

After all, we are a opensource project.
