I have the Nec 3540 burner and am going to be burning games for my samsung drive.
what are the best dvds to get for that combination?
I'm using Liggy and Dees 1.W5 Is that good or should i change it?

I'd also like to take my backups to my friends house and play them on his hitachi....if that's a factor. the main focus is the samsung though

thanks

Currently, Verbatim DVD+R DL's are the best media out there for your Xbox 360 backups.

Verbatim D/L DVD+R are the best D/L media PERIOD. No other D/L media comes close to the overall compatibility and durability record of this media.

better than Taiyo Yuden and Ritek RiData?

and are the Verbatim Datalifeplus the same as the Verbatim -not datalifeplus- ? The datalifeplus are listed as "White Inkjet" and that's the only difference I see. The datalifeplus discs are more expensive.

thanks a lot

Taiyo Yuden currently doesn't make D/L DVD+R, so no real comparison can be made there. As for Ritek/Ridata their D/L media leaves something greatly to be desired. The results with them are quite mixed. As for Datalife versus Datalife Plus, it is a moot point as that only applies to the single layer Verbatims. You only have 3 options with Verbatim D/L DVD+R. 1. 2.4x InkJet Printable MKM001. 2. 2.4x MKM001 (non-printable) 3. 8x MKM003.
