I'm using DVD2xbox to copy the games to the HDD. It actually copies just fine, except I cannot get it to copy b40.map I've tried, retried and re-tried again.. I think the DVD-drive in my xbox is on it's last leg. It doesn't seem to ever want to cooperate. So having said that, I do not believe it is a problem with the disc. Anyone have any alternative suggestions for extracting that file from the disc? I appreciate any help I can get.

thanks-epi

Well, maybe you could try manually copying the map from a different dashboard such as UnleashX or XBMC using the file manager. However, this might not work because your disc drive might be going out like you said. You might need to replace your disc drive or clean it, but I suspect that you probably need to get a replacement. An alternative would be to find the map online somewhere.
