when i boot my mod dash i have no sound. if i boot another dash such as default .xbe from file xplorer.
how can i get it to boot with sound?

Check in the audio settings, and make sure the volume settings are not set to anything near 0.
I know it seems basic, but often it's these simple things that people just don't bother to check.
