i coulda swore i saw this on here a few days ago.
i setup XBMC as my default dash. i browsed the drive with the file manager, and it is showing my C: E: F: and Q: parts duplicated. of an 80Gb sized drive, it shows: C = is not showing a size. the drive however is browesable. E = 4.2 Gb F = 68.6 Gb Q = 4.2 Gb is this a bad partitioning error? how can i get this all up and running properly? i used ndure and xboxhdm on this. if there is no problem with the drive, how can i correct the file manager to show the contents properly? as well, with the drive setup as it is, is there anyway i can activate shadowC? thas the least of my worries at the moment however. |

XBMC mounts the folder it runs from as Q. Hence it will always have as much free space as that partition.
If other partitions are showing up twice, simply press the white button over the dupes for the option to remove them from the source list. |

thanks again, BB.
anopther issue/question: during normal video/audio playback, pressing the white button brings up the info bar at the bottom of the screen (media title, seek bar, etc). on this version of xbmc i have, pressing the white button does nothing but bring up the small top right seek bar. any idea why on this one? as well, when i highlight the filemanager button on the homepage, it lists the C: and E: drive status. anyway i can have it display the E: and F: drive status instead? thanks again to you or anyone who can help! |

during normal video/audio playback, pressing the white button brings up the info bar at the bottom of the screen (media title, seek bar, etc). on this version of xbmc i have, pressing the white button does nothing but bring up the small top right seek bar. At some point they changed the button mappings. Compare "keymap.xml" between the two versions if you want to change it back. I think the black button may do what you want, though. as well, when i highlight the filemanager button on the homepage, it lists the C: and E: drive status. anyway i can have it display the E: and F: drive status instead? That's down to the skin. If there isn't an option to change it within skin settings, then there's not much you can really do about it. |
