alright, when i got my crystal xcm i was like. man this is nice im going to leave it just how it is.but, i am a modder and you know how that goes. well here is a total list of things done

INSIDE:
duox2 chip
wireless controller integrated
wireless doorbell mod
160 gig
cut DVD Phillips drive.

OUTSIDE
Painted XCM jewel(clear letters)
LED ring that looks like a sun(thats why i call it the sunwhite project)
white controller port leds
white underglow
white eject light
white DVD drive activity
blue hard drive activity
and blue led above controller port 1 to indicate the wireless controller is enabled or disabled(on=enabled)

Looks good. You should paint the jewel ring pcb though, and cut the tabs off.

i agree with you SICKmods, and its looking great so far. surely you can fit more leds in there thoguh tongue.gif wouldnt mind seeing some side vent leds and definitely paint the led ring white or even a ocean blue kind of colour. but white i dunno

wont paint fuck it up? short out connections or stuff?

Anyways looks fucking great, i had this idea with a Crystal too, make it all white instead of the usual blue. Next step is doing the sidevents sideglow mod with 10 leds on each side. Mb3k made a nice tut withj a template.

I dunno...i'm not a huge fan of white xboxes, and I don't know what to think of your jewel ring, since my motto when lighting is to get the most amount of light without showing any lights or wires.

It does look pretty good, though...nice and clean. One thing I would try to fix is on the left side of the front panel, those red wires are the first thing that caught my eye. I dunno if that's for the IR reciever, or what, and i'm not exactly sure how to fix it, other than hiding them better or using white wires.

Edit: Wait, that's for the blue LED? What's that for, anyways?

just wondering . for the LEd pcb if u could make it so 2 leds go in the hole and solder positive to positive negative to negative if it would work . so u would have a inward and outward led ring.

You should put the top shielding back on. Personally for me, the XCM dont look right without all the shielding on. I had my blue one on without the shielding and it just looked ugly, so i put the top shielding on and i think it does it much more justice with the shielding on. But i like yours away ways.
