Hi!

I got a new motherboard for my 360 because of the RLOD problem but the problem is that my Samsung drive doesn't work with it! I've heard I can extract the motherboard key and put it on the drive so they play nice again and I can get on with Halo 3! Could someone possibly point me in such direction? Also, I have a macbook pro(with XP installed) This wont hinder the flash of they drive or anything like that right? Thanks very much!

Check around the hacking forums, if memory serves right, there is a way to recover the key from the motherboard, although it's not very easy.

Anyway, the person who sold you the motherboard should have provided it with it's key, ask him/her first.

I looked it up and yeah, you can't extract from the mobo. That's such a pain! Oh well. I guess I'll be selling this soon.

Again, can't you ask the seller for the key? Might save you a lot of effort.

I doubt you'll get much for it. its prety much useless without the dvd drive key. you should at least ask the guy that sold it to you if he's got it.
