I was wondering if anyone would be able to help? i am currently having some issues with game freezes. it started after the new dash update a while back. have a sammy with lt 1.0, patch with abgx 1.5, and use verb cds @ 2.4x. i do not use xbl and have no desire to. it is kind of hit or miss with the freezes, acb has been doing it for the past few days now.

guide button is still responding? if not you are on your way to 3RLOD as they are system freezes not game..
If the guide button works then the discs cant be read. could be a few things. Normally the xbox errors our and gives a disc unreadable pop-up with recommended remedy steps (clean disc, re-insert.)

-ensure abgx checks out the DISC (not disc image) as 100% good (game data section mainly)
-ensure the drive isn't making ticking or strugging sounds. it should be smooth loading.

If the disc isn't good, its a bad burn.. if the drive is struggling to read you need a new lens.

If these check out OK, its the system starting to go. Keep it as cool as possible, or try to sell. Samsung have no worries of AP2.5 tho which is a huge bonus for those working systems.

Xenon and Zephyr boards idle around 70C, newer games really push the consoles limits and create even MORE heat which isn't good.
