I am new to this forum. I want to add a duplicate O button. I used another post in this forum to figure out where I need to solder the wires. My question is how to solder the wire to the Via? I have done some soldering before but never on anything this small. The board i have is from a dualshock 3 it is a MSU_VX4_0.09

Smaller doesn't mean you have to do it differently, just more carefully is all.

The method is the same, remove the solder mask with a fiberglass pen or X-acto knife to expose the copper, then solder the wire up. I wouldn't use anything larger than 30awg wire, and make sure you secure it after making your solder connection so it doesn't tear anything up if it's accidentally pulled on.
