Freezing Constantly Options

I just got this with the latest 6-11 T3CH build of XBMC with the update on MC360...It worked fine for about 5 minutes then I go back into it and everytime I go to advanced settings it freezes, or when I go to videos on the main menu, or just in random places, I really want this to work but I don't know why it freezes randomly. Any help is appreciated...

I have the same problem.
I even disconected my wireless controllser, and connected an official S controller. ... No Change
I also reset the XBMC to the default settings.....no change

Same problem, except I can't even get to five minutes like the OP.

same for me. freezes completely when flipping to system blade. freezes in media if i try to move past video into trailers. i have to give up for the night. too tired to try anything else.

also still cannot remove the water drop which now i think is something called flubber.

my box history.

bought stepson 360 for xmas. loved us so much for that, he kicked me his black box(funny how that works eh?). as soon as the 360 was up and running happily i took the black box apart. had no interest in mod chips and hunted for softmod. after a week of hunting softmods and hacking away at a 250 gb hard drive i got xbmc working with a softmod. who knows what i pressed in the hair pulling in between stages. i did everything i was told for mc360. including waiting patiently. put all the proper releases on hdd and had mc360 running fine. put the update in and had freezer problems. hmmm. don't like to give up on a good thing. EVER! is why i got a 250 gb in and not a 120gb. anyhoo. i erased every dingle file on e drive. which runs xbmc and skins. ftp'd only 6-11-06 release and new mc360. nice. still freezes.

but hey. whats in my c drive still running? hmm?

i am so new to this it isnt funny. just a month in so i don't really know what i am doing other than i haven't had this much fun since duke nukem'. i am off to play tombraider and finish my guiness.

if you can find a way to unfreeze me and help me get flubber off my screen i would love to buy you a pint. i will anyway then.

same prob... but it freezes when changing fast of a menu ex: shutdown blade --> back

or when it tries to search quictime trailers.... or .. randomly ..

I have the same problem! It freezes constantly anywhere if i stepped around in the menu.

IT ALSO FREEZES IF i go to Weather Prognose (to see 3 Days Weather).

Ill used the latest Build of Tech 11/06 & 499 MC360 Beta!

My findings so far -

NTSC 4:3 (480i) - Locks when selecting Movie Trailers

NTSC 16:9 (480i) - Locks when selecting Movie Trailers

480p 16:9 - Locks when selecting System tab and Movie Trailers

480p 16:9 - Locks when selecting System tab and Movie Trailers

720p 16:9 - Locks when selecting the Games tab

1080i 16:9 - Locks when selecting MC360 Guide

PAL 4:3 - Everything works fine

PAL 16:9 - Everything works fine


So it appears that the latest skin version only works properly on a PAL Xbox.

Same here but in the beginning it al worked fine now only pal 4:3 or 16:9 is working il reinstall all and give my results

I deleted thefiles in the cache, UDATA and TDATA dir and it al works for now. hope this helps

... another freeze... when it goes to game saves... and start to scan them.. it freezes @ ~75%

Cleared cache, updated version...still freezes, I'll use project mayhem for now anyway : /

That fixed the freezing on the system blade. I had the same problem and now it works fine.
