I just bought the official xbox360 multimedia remote because I wanted to be able to turn up/down the volume of the music from the dashboard while in game. To my surprise the volume buttons do absolutely nothing. Is this an issue with my X360/remote, or can you not perform this easy task with the remote...figured you should be able to considering you can change the tracks.

Right, it'll only control the volume of your TV after it's programmed...
