Hello I just removed my Ps3 slim laser as I am about to replace it .While I was removing the casing of the blueray drive a small piece of plastic fell out and for the life of me I cannot find where it belongs. Here is a couole of pics of the part

As you can see there are a set of teeth cut into either end pressumably to turn a couple of cogs?

I don't have any slim now to confirm, but If I remember well, this part is at the sides of the laser helping the tray to eject... Check better and you will find where it belongs.

It's located in one of the front corners when you take/unclip the plastic assembly off to get to the laser. There should be a pin for it to slide into. It's for loading the disc.
