I backed up my eeprom w/ Evox and ConfigMagic. Everything was the same, except the "confounder" value.

The Liveinfo serial even matched the bottom of the Xbox serial #.

Should the 2 Liveinfo confounder values from the 2 different backups match?

Is xbox a ver 1.6?

AFAIK, Evox dash build 3935 was the last version and used an earlier version of Team Assembly's eeprom code.

ConfigMagic 1.6 Final was updated by Yoshihiro to work with 1.6 eeproms.

I'll trust ConfigMagic's backup a little more. You can confirm the result by using Xbox Linux. ldots also did some work with 1.6 eeprom and this was folded into the rest of the xbox linux eeprom code at sourceforge.

EDIT: There's another option. xman954's eeprom reader.

It's an Xbox 1.0.
