I just updated my firmware for the first time and it played burned dvd movies fine. But i tried burning UFC to a dvd and the disk spins up but then says open tray. I burned the game using dvd decrypter and used the .dvd file to burn it. I also checked it with abgx360 and it said everything was fine, so im unsure why my xbox wont play the game. can anyone help me?

will the drive still play originals ifso try reflash the drive

You're suppose to use ImgBurn to backup your games.

Yes it still plays original games and everything ive read says it doesnt matter what if you use clonecd, image burn or dvd decrypter

Aslong as you using burning software which sets layerbreak your fine,
What media are you using, That abgx checks out its nothing to do with the ripping or burning so the limits the problems to 3 things.

Poor media or burn.
Weak dvd drive laser in xbox.
Firmware flash didnt change anything and you still have stock firmware.

But that its open tray its more likly the first 2.

Try with Xbox Backup Creator. I use to backup and burn with that.
Use only 2.4 speed and Verbatim. wink.gif

im using memorex disks, and a new problen just started, the dvd drive wont stay closed. it oppens when i turn off the console and when i turn it on it closes and oppens back
