just got the new update on my hitachi and my backups still run

To jump in a clear something up before it gets misconstrued...the Reset Glitch can not be removed via a system update like the KK exploit or other exploits as the RGH is based on hardware glitching not software based exploits

"GliGli released a new hack to boot the Xbox360 into XeLL and thus run homebrew software on your console. It's is compatible with ALL dashboard version and ALL Slim and Fat (expect Xenon, Falcon support will follow later) models and is unpatchable via software updates by Microsoft."

Oct 11 update which turn off my 360 then when i try play gears of war 3 it said unauthorized disc then i played it again disconnected from the net and it worked have a liteon will check connected but not sure i should?

Try using your real disk and not the "backup"

Every time there is a spring/fall update, there are a couple of little updates that come along before it. They do nothing but ready the system and the server side for the upcoming spring/fall update.

This happens every single time. YET the nubs come out the wood work screaming BANWAVE!!! and we never get one. You all realise MS updates the system for reasons other than to catch pirates right? System fixes, updates to software handling and the like are just as important.

Its not all about you pirates. Sorry I mean "back up" people.

Only slims cannot be patched, MS could still jig around with the postcodes to temporarily stop the hack.

Another widely believed myth on here is that microsoft released an update after the jtag hack to stop people jtaging their consoles.
Actually the hack was released after the update.
It is thought ms found out about the coming hack so changed the 1BL key with an update. This led to the hackers releasing the jtag hack early. (after some disagreeent)

Lets' try to stick to the facts ppl, If you have some facts to report, then pls do, otherwise keep ur 'ohhhh all you pirates are about to get pwned , as no-one could ever possibly need to make a legitimate backup' comments to urself (or ur fellow M$ fanboy/co-workers) as that sort stuff isn't helpful to the legitimate scene, only to those who profit from piracy...

There's obviously new AP2.6 updates (surprise surprise) which should be easily overcome for those that rip their own from their own originals and ODE's. I would guess there's nothing in there for ODE detection, some RGH damage control (we'll see how far that goes) and anyone that thinks they haven't had this waiting to co-incide with LT+2.0 release's hat isn't shiny enough .. and let's not forget the new DLC hashing controls/enforcement (byebye non-Jtag Noobs)

Does anyone know which games have had their C/R's changed with this update? Abgx360 doesn't seem to have been updated yet.

I'm glad I never updated to LT+ 2.0. Didn't feel safe with booting half-ass burned XGD3 discs. Time to flash back to stock before doing the System Update and stay at stock until things are determined to be safe. But I think I will just stick with LT+ 1.91. Plenty of older games I want to play. I can play the new stuff on my JTAG. Will be interesting to see if we do get a ban wave this year and what might be the cause of it.

Time to test this new LT 2.0 firmware-

I flashed to LT 2.0, but the only disc that has been in my xbox since has been a Dark Souls RETAIL disc. I am not playing with this XGD3 stuff...

If I get a ban, it is absolutely not due to a backup! Unless I got flagged in the past, but I really doubt it. If I get banned, I point to the firmware!

seems to working with backups now after few reboots then it updated again got sky news for free from foxtel whoopy
