Do you have any friends or relatives nearby who are still running a 32-bit Windows OS?

I tried to do this on my uncle's XP computer, but the only program I ever got to work on it was Gameshark (the best I can do with that is put one of the generic save files the software comes with on my card), Action Replay didn't work on the card either, I couldn't drag and drop anything onto my card in AR.

Well, that is a start. What you do is do what you did before on his computer, gaining access to the card via Gameshark. Once this is accomplished, then you would fire up xplorer360. It should then see your memory card and allow you to put whatever you want on it.

Do you mean use Xplorer360 while Gameshark detects the card? I tried using xplorer360 by itself on my uncle's computer and had no luck.

Yes. It is worth a shot. Another option is to simply install the xbox memory card driver on his PC, which won't hurt anything, and then try xplorer360 again.

Yeha, that I tried and the only driver I got to work in the slightest was the Gameshark driver. And not even that got the Xplorer to work.

Follow this guide using an XP machine. Ignore the parts about the Xbox controller since you already have a memory card reader.

The AR software is here

The guide will get you access to your memory card. You can use this to transfer your save exploit to your memory card. This is one of the tools I use for memory cards. I know for fact that it works with the exploit saves.

I have the same problem as well. Running a windows 7 64 bit computer.

My theory is this:

Can I use an xbox console connector and put a USB female end on it, Format a usb drive for FATX and use it to manually plugin to the xbox and run it that way? I was reading a few threads earlier on it. Not sure if that would work?

Here is one of the threads

And I was getting some of the information from this website as well... http://team-hq.com/ModdingTutorial/

There is no automatic way to plug things into the Xbox - it's always manual, because it is a manual task......

Which method are you using - an external MS memory unit to USB adapter (this thread), a controller with a USB port and a USB drive (the thread you linked to), or a controller with a USB connector and a standard MS Memory unit?

I wanted to use the 1st method (An external MS memory unit to usb adapter) because I already have an action replay and the usb adapter. But with my version of windows, for some reason action replay software will not let me put files on the action replay itself. It pops up in the taskbar and says "the usb device failed to enumerate". No matter how many times I try to install the drivers myself, it still doesnt work.

I also attempted to format my AR memory card to FATX so that i could use Xplorer360 and that attempt failed as well. Xplorer360 told me that it could not find any FATX drives either.

So I think (If there are no other options and nobody has any tips) I will have to install a USB port and USB drive on a controller.

You are making no sense. What do you mean "attempted to format my AR memory card to FATX"? You put it in the Xbox and it formats it for you - no computer involved at all. If that doesn't work then the memory card is broken.

Once it's formatted in the Xbox, and you've tested it in the Xbox (copy a gamesave to it, copy it back again, confirm that it works), you then plug the adapter into your PC (having first removed all traces of AR software), plug the memory card into the adapter, then run Xplorer360 beta 6.

He's using an apparently new tool to do this, "USB FATX Formatter", written in C#. Interesting...
