Hi all. I recently started adding some passive heatsinks to the ram 1/2 and to the southbridge. What do i need to use to hold the passive heatsink on the southbridge. I got A5 but using that along wont hold in place the heatsink cause the sata cable of the drive will move it. Any ideas on how to hold it in place?

Thx for the repplies. I used a heatsink from an old dell mobo that i had. The HS was used on the chipset. Its the same height as the 360s gpu one. I up a screen shot once i get to my place. Since i dont got thermal tape i used a really thin wire and tied it from bellow. I used the small holes around the south bridge itself. Anyways I know it sucks that way but at least it'll hold 'till i get the thermal tape. I'll up some screen shots later. And again thx for the repplies smile.gif

BTW that heatsink from llama really looks nice, I think I might get it instead of getting the thermal tape, still they'll both work unsure.gif

Maybe some computer shop will use a bit of thermal adhesive for a small fee, since buying the tubes for one application is a bit excessive.
