We just got a brand new Samsung 37" LCD rated at 720p and I just bought a 360 also.
While we do have enough HDMI inputs and are using them for the cable and DVD, I was wondering who has used them for the 360 vs the R, G, B, composites?

If money weren't an issue, of course HDMI, but since the 360 came with composites, I used them tonight and they seem to work pretty damn good!

So, I guess I am asking if you have used both, do you really notice a difference? Or enough to pay $50, 60+??

I would only use HDMI so as to get full 1080p, but as your tv can only display 720p you might as well stick with composite.

Yeah, our room is large enough to use a 37" and even most folks at the stores we shopped at and through research suggested that 1080p wasn't worth the extra unless we were sporting a TV size larger that 45" or so.

Plus with the new 120hz and LED's hitting the market now and this being out first LCD, we decided not to drop too much coin on this TV and save some $$ for our second one next year.

Well, I decided to use one of my open HDMI cableson the 360 and all I can say is that I am happy I did!

Gears Of War looks much different using HDMI cables than the R,B,G setup! It's worth the money if you have it.
