Emaulators Displaying In Black And White Options

hi

i have a crystal clear xbox (PAL UK) soft modded, im running evolution x. When i connect to my old dell flat screen monitor, all xbox game isos on the hd display correctly in full colour etc, but when I play emulators, they display in black and white.

any ideas?

emulators that are black/white: cpx3, final burn legends, mameox, kawax

connecting xbox via rca (yellow white red) in to a VGAwesome box/converter. then vga cable in to monitor

soft mod was the splintercell exploit, was soft modded by a friend in 2010, and has never been updated since

Splinter Cell Exploit isn't a softmod, it's an exploit used to install a softmod. It is important to know which softmod your friend installed so we can tweak the video output to see if that makes any difference.

What colour is the LED on the front of your Xbox? Which of these folders (if any) do you have?

C:\SID5
C:\bios
E:\NKP11
E:\ntds
E:\Apps\Extras

Do any other emulators work properly?

is there a way to check files without hooking up to a router?

as im currently using mobiile web for a couple weeks?

My immediate first thought is, does your TV support 60Hz (NTSC) ?

Your TV should have some form of options menu or will automatic switch if 60Hz support is there.
Usually the options menu (if there is one) will have options such as PAL, NTSC or Auto for it's region/display mode.
Set it to auto if the menu exists.

Or regardless of hacked dashboard, look through your dash options and enable PAL 60.

i think you have misread.

everything works fine on 50hz and 60hz tv's

the emulators dont display colour on my old dell monitor, which is 1024x768 a 15 inch square monitor

What about the folders on the E partition?

and e partition has :
