I told myself I wouldnt get a preorder or even buy one until I saw a price drop... But now since I'm brainwashed by the media and all the hype I'm really starting to reconsider..

I'm just planning on camping out at Walmart. I've had enough stores give my pre-orders away that I don't do that anymore. My "local" EB has only actually delivered 2 out of the 8 times I've pre-ordered there. I think I'll have better luck at Walmart.

No, I did not preorder one. I don't plan on buying an Xbox 360 until either (1) Halo 3 comes out or (2) a good modchip hits the market. I am not a big gamer and mostly use my xboxes in my house as media centers, linux boxes, or servers. It does look like a nice system though.

I don't have 2000 dollars to drop on a preorder at gamestop, however, I do have the time to spend camping out at Walmart at 12am.

i don't have enough money for one right now. although, if i did, i wouldn't buy it yet anyways. there aren't enough good games out yet

Yes i have pre ordered and cant wait......roll on dec 2nd....i personaly think £280 is a fair price for such a bit of technology.

I paid £300 for the first playstation i was happy to pay that for the quality at the time after moving from an Amiga 1200.

Hope amazon can deal with all the pre orders as i want mine no later than the 5th of dec.

and Xbox 360 looks almost as if they're trying to persuade people into buying it because they don't have to mess around with it to get it to do the things that our modded consoles do

I didn't; I can afford one, but I'm not really interested in the games that are coming out. I think I will wait for the Spring batch to roll out.

yeah, i think MS is rushing the release of this console. xbox is still good enough for me. it's going to take a real good game to make me buy this console. so i'm just waiting.
