I've taken on the roll of trying to mod a box, stupid stupid stupid! lol j/k
On the serious note i have a 1.1v box with a Xenium Gold SP limited chip with a 320gb hdd. I'm am using BIOS X2_4981.67.bin; I have Evox,Avalaunch,UnleashX Dashboards. All programs are working fine. Here comes the problem. The DVD drive wont regconize any disc, it will try to read it and then my dashboard or DVD2Xbox will say no disc. Also all the games that i have ftp to my xbox won't play they run up to the loading screen and then the freeze. I have no idea wtf is going on. I have switched out my disc drive and still the problem persist. i've been working on this problem for about a month, only to give up in failure after about 5 hours of trial and error everytime. please help this noob out and i will vow to help serve the noob's in the future. thanks again for reading his and help if you can.... |

Is the IDE cable of the DVD ROM attached properly?

yes it's attached properly. My box won't play games already on the hdd also

try deleting files in cache folder (E:/cache) and files in X,Y,Z folders

i've done that too. nothing seems to work. i used the wizard on the chip and i heard that it was kind of flakey could this be the reason?? I need some expert advice. Chancer helped me out a lot over the past month thanks for that. Please help i can't wait much longer.....

OMG I'm so f-ing happy right now!!! All i had to do was delete the games that i snatched off my old modded box and ftp'ed and it started working like a champ!!! Thanks XBOX SCENE You guys rock!!!
