Can anyone confirm whether or not I can get key data to dump with CK3 Probe 3 and an original USB Xtractor? IPB Image

Or will I have to power the drive with the xbox -- or will I simply have to buy an xtractor v2 or ck3 lite?

never use your console to power the drive without SATA hooked to the motherboard

it records this as a flag in secdata.bin and will result in a BAN

Yeah that's what I thought....which is why I never do it anymore.

So can I just plug a sata cable into the xbox mainboard that leads to nothing? How is thata info stored w/ no hdd attached? Is the drive flagged or the xbox?' Bc i have some busted xboxes that power on I could use. How am I supposed to power the probe without a power connector on my xtractor? Is there a converter to molex or something?

bump...ck3 probe supposed to be here tomorrow so if anyone could help out with any more info or even just point me in the right direction I would be greatly appreciative

Just in case anyone has this same question...

I was able to successfully flash a 74850 with original maximus xtractor and ck3 probe. Just to be extra-safe, I used a RROD 360 to power the probe.

Hope this helps someone.
