Anyone know if it has been possible to use the included dvd spindle with a phillips drive? I have heard some people got it to work with a sammy. beerchug.gif

yeah i tried it with a samsung and i'm sure if you can secure the top long plastic piece you can make everything else work.

so, on a samsung, you cut the black plastic on the drive down a bit so that the top of the clear thingy is level with to top of the rest of the black plastic, right?

anybody got a good pic of it close up or has anybody made a nice tut yet? i read that some ppl were working on a tut. smile.gif


edit: i guess i'm going to have to rip that disk bit out of the top of the dvd drive too? is there an easy way to do this?

hmm i managed to fit it in somehow but sometimes it scratches cd if pressed down too tightly....
