In short:
Xbox: v1.4
Bios: Xecutor2 4979.06 repack; 29wire Homebrew chip
executed backup feature from evox; after reboot solid green LED; no function
checked solderpoints; seems all to be ok.

long version:
I just solded a Xbox v1.4 (http://forums.maxconsole.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=510) with 29wire Homebrew chip with Xecutor2 4979.06 repack.
The Xbox booted my evox-cd (evox 1.8.2812) so i plugged everthing out and fixated the wires with hot-melt adhesive.
Then i booted the evox cd again and tried to run the evox backup feature.
It hungs. After rebooting the cd again i looked on the C: partition (with ftp), the backup folder was there, but only bios.bin with filesize 0 was in it.
OK then i tried a newer evox version to run backup (EvolutionX Build 3921). I copied it to C: , renamed xboxdash.xbe to msxboxdash.xbe and evoxdash.xbe to xboxdash.xbe.
I did that because i didnt want to burn a new cd-rw and because i configured the bios to load the other dashboards from F: , but there is the original drive still in there.
This time the backup worked (well it didnt hung) but as i rebooted the xbox doesnt work anymore.
No Video/audio can't eject, solid green led.
I checked all solderpoints and they should be ok.
Any ideas what happend or what i can do?

It was a bad solderpoint or a bad wire or what.
I made the hole thing new and it works again.

But the backup function in evox 3921 still doesnt work!!!
It creates the backupfolder on C: but with no content,

hehe, evox backup function works smile.gif

but the ftpserver doesnt work right with gFTP (linux ftp-client).
Evox disconnects me everytime i changed to the backup folder.
With ftp in shell it works.
