Hey just curious if anyone is still trying to do this? I've found the file..but am a little confused on how to understand the values...And I don't know where it might be to change the out put...I was just curious to find the limitations of how fast you can honestly go with out exiting the track like you can on GT4 with AR. Thanks.

Without modding the game you can hit 320mph+ in bump drafting enzos on the oval with a good connection. As far as I know everyone has given up on modding forza physics though.

You can't fly off the track in Forza.

You should have noticed that the car is reset to the track almost immediate when all four wheels leave the track, like it does when two wheels are off the ground in example when you are stuck on a curve.

Besides, it's just like PGR2 - there is nothing outside the track. You'll just fall through the surface texture.

Not true, there are several glitches and jumps that let you get very high in the air, its when your car tilts too far that it gets reset. There are also several gltiches that allow you to fall through the map and reach falling speeds of over 500mph.

What is it that isn't true masterofdragons?

QUOTE

True - you cannot fly off the track in Forza for two reasons;
  • There isn't anything outside the track to fly into.
  • Your car would be reset before you could reach it.
QUOTE
the car is reset to the track almost immediate when all four wheels leave the track

True expect from fall through the ground glitch. However the question was to fly of the track, not go through it in an endless falling.

Your statement
QUOTE
its when your car tilts too far that it gets reset
is incorrect.

The car will be reset when two wheels are of the ground for more than a few seconds. - Try grinding on a curve on The Ring.

I don't know what you define as a jump, but if you actually get some speed up and hit a jump the car will quickly be reset when all four wheels leave the track, tilted or not. - Try the jump on Alpine Ring in example.

I will say this. Get on Forza, get in an enzo. Go to Alpine Ring. Drive to the end of the straight, then turn around and go full speed the wrong way, keeping on the right edge of the track. You will fly way into the air for a long time, and if you car doesn't over rotate you will not be reset.

This replay should show that grinding on a curve with two wheels in the air will get your car reset.
It will also show a perfect example of tweaked physics and power as the topic starter questioned.

Put the replay in /E:/UDATA/4d53006e/6442D57EA3A2/
You can view it in Options -> Replay Theatre.

Be sure to view the telemetry.

This is what I call a jump. The car is acutally reset when it is straighting out.

Pointless - you cannot see the real event since your car isn't modded.

You have to put the file he posted into the directory and watch it in the replay mode of Forza. I'm at work and haven't tested it yet so don't quote me on that smile.gif

Also, Alpine Ring is lots of fun going backwards and then full speed to do a jump.

Yeah, added some pretty cool wheels to the BMW too. Specs are 375/20/20 rear and front. Hehe. Smacked 19" on the Audi as shown, but I think it could do with 295/30/20.
