Web Browsing Looks Horrible On My Ps3 (going To My Plasma) Options

Okay, first off I gotta say, this PS3 that I just bought, I'm happy with it (I bought Resistance Fall of Man) and I don't see why so many people are bashing it, give it 5-6 months and it will be raping the XBOX360

Anyways yea, I was using my PC and my girlfriend wanted to check something on the internet and as she wasn't able to use my PC (since I was installing windows vista) she used the PS3 that I picked up 2 nights ago. I mean its cool and all that you can browse the web on this thing, but when I pick HD (or SD) alot of text on websites looks like shit, even if I turn up the character size...

I'm using a 42" Hitachi Plasma (I forget the model #), its the "Ultravision" ones (guess those are the new ones), downside is it has EVERYTHING except 1080p

The browser is pretty much useless unless you have a 100 inch screen so you can read the text. Also 1080p won't make a difference in text size since 1080i is the same resolution.

I have installed linux on my ps3 and the text is a little better on firefox, still not great though if you have your plasma running at 1080i turning it to 720p will make the text a little bigger.
