Hello
I just bought a new xbox slim from the extreme value pack
I searched on the internet whole night yesterday and i only found 3 similar xbox's with the Lot n°1208X
The 4th number of the box's serial number from the right is a 3.
According the the search's results i have a liteon 16D4S and my motherboard is a corona because my xbox has 9.6A.
The only problem is i don't know which firmware my xbox's disc drive has.
If anyone could enligthen me i'd appreciate, thanks

I could be wrong ....

but, I thought New Slims were being equipped with Lite On 16D5s

Think the only way to truly find out is to open the machine up

even though i just bought it i think it ain't that new
MFR date is 22/08/2011 and has a light yellow sticker to the side, which all points to a 0255 lite-on 16D4S
though i'm not sure

i second that, the drive is what ever jungle flasher reports it as being. if figuring out your drive is this much of a challenge, modding the drive will be impossible for u.
