Xbox-Scene is not responsible for any transactions, or any actions of it's members in this forum whatsoever!

Anyone choosing to conduct any sort of transaction with another member on XS does so at their own risk and expense.

As individuals, you need to take responsibility for your own actions, and you need to take responsibility for the fact you are dealing with strangers on the internet. Xbox-Scene is not a professional Sales service.. and is provided free and without any kind of warranty. We also will not ban people because you claim they ripped you off. Do NOT send the the "evidence" as we simply do not have the time, manpower, or will to follow through on your complaints. We have no intention of mediating any more disputes.

If you are ripped off, the only thing you are allowed to do on XS is to report it in the thread of the seller/buyer/trader ONCE. Alternatively you can make a note in your signature stating your grievance with the user. What you cannot do is spam other XS forums with your complaints. Do not make threads complaining about transaction that have gone bad. Do NOT contact staff complaining that a user has ripped you off. Do NOT make new threads in this or any other XS forum complaining about the "user" that ripped you off.

Xbox-Scene Does not recommend or endorse the use of the XS BST forums unless you are willing to take responsibility for your own actions, and you assume all risk. We do however recommend that people who wish to assume that risk should research the people they are dealing with, and alternatively search out and use professional Sales forums.(many of which offer the services and customer protection you keep asking us for here on XS but will NOT get here!)

People who continue to ignore the clearly posted rules and post complaints all over the place despite moderators and staff closing and moving them.. expect two things to happen.. the person complaining (and not necessarily the accused) will have their account closed, and that BST will get closed altogether. XS has already dedicated too much time and human resources to maintaining this area of the site. If it continues to be a problem we will close it.

Also.. do not ASK for any expansion of the BST type forums as we have no intention of adding forums to this area, or to expand the services provided.

Feel free to LIST your XBOX or XBOX item for Buy, Sell or Trade. others can feel free to offer any number of legal items (under the XS rules of course) or cash in trade. What people cannot do, is start new thread, and offer NON xbox items. Period. No new threads with people offering non-XBOX stuff.

UPDATE: Getestore and Similar “store” / commissioned pre-made store type concepts – No Commission Based Sales. Period. This is pretty much a BST and BST360 specific rule. Any products offered for sale should be in direct possession by the seller. From now on, and new post in any of the BST sales type forums on XS, must list the products and merchandise in their entirety in the post on XS, or don’t bother posting at all on our site. To be perfectly blunt, XS is not here for you to make money. XS sponsors are the only exception to this rule. The items listed in any sales thread or post on XS, must actually be in the possession of the person(s) listing it for sale or trade. Selling items for a 3rd party business via a commission based "Ready Made Internet Store" does not constitute owning the stock, and will result in a closure of the thread, and possibly the account. We want members to be directly accountable for any actions/tractions they conduct on our site.

UPDATE JAN 2007: Do not start threads asking "what can I get for 5$, 10$ etc" as staff will close them and make a ban req on your account. when making a new post, either Offer to sell a product, or trade a product. If you want to buy something.. go into an existing thread and make an offer on a product or service. DO NOT MAKE NEW THREADS ASKING WHAT YOU CAN GET FOR $5 bucks etc.

Do Not Ask, or Offer to buy, Sell or Trade GameFly Subscriptions. People wanting a subscription can get their own.
UPDATE: XS will not DELETE threads on demand. Even in light of the Raids on US shops. You can request it be removed/made invisible, however, we will keep it open for 30 days if you do so, allowing those you have serviced can comment, communicate, and / or complain or raise issues. We can make some requested edits though of info you posted, however, we will keep it on file. Note, deleting or removing your thread at this point is too little, too late. the authorities have that info already, and worse, every search engine and spider crawler on the net has it archived.

I have a few items I am looking to get rid of/trade for other items. Guitar Hero 3: Wireless Les Paul Guitar I am looking to trade my GH3 wireless guitar for a wired X-plorer guitar. The reason is as follows: the wireless guitar has the problem where the frets have poor contact to the body of the guitar. Basically, the neck of the guitar is slightly loose causing the frets to loose contact with the body of the guitar every once in a while. This was fixed in a later version of the guitar. My friend and I used it today for hours and kept the neck from wiggling by using electrical tape. The guitar still functions, the neck just wiggles loosing connection to the body of the guitar. Looking to trade it for a wired x-plorer guitar. Pioneer 111D w/ latest firmware I bought a Pioneer 111D about two years back. Of course, at that time I wasn't making 360 backups, I was just in the need for a drive to burn discs. I have since gotten a better drive that can burn my backups as well as burn lightscribe images. The drive works perfectly still and can burn backups. It is IDE not SATA. I am looking for $45 shipped. Wireless Halo 3 Mic This mic has mysteriously stopped charging just out of warranty Apparently it can be fixed easily, but I got another mic and have no use for it now. I am looking for $10 shipped, OBO Stock X360 Sata Cable Just as the title says, it is a stock sata cable pulled from a 360 that has an external dvd drive mod applied. I can probably ship this pretty cheap. Looking for best offer Stock X-Clamps I have two "X"s and 16 bolts (lost two x's) Looking for best offer I am also looking for a Premium 360 However, I am looking to trade Original Xboxs (or a combination of items above and original xboxs) for one. It must come with all the items a premium console would come with, the console can't be opened, can't be flashed, and must still have the warranty sticker intact. I may have more random things, ill post if I have anything else to get rid of.

I was only looking for a trade with the guitar anyway. The Wireless guitar is gone now. It is being traded. Everything else is still available. I really want to trade my original xboxs for a premium system. I really want another premium. I am willing to trade a modded original Xbox for a RROD Xbox 360. What's left: Pioneer 111D Stock X-clamps and bolts Stock Sata cable Still interested in trading a "Media Center Kit" for a Premium 360 (console, harddrive, a/v and power cables. Controller not needed). It is basically 3 original Xboxs, all softmodded and ready to go for streaming all over your house! Two of them are original stock hardware, one is custom painted and has a 60GB harddrive. All three xboxs come with their original a/v and power cables. I am only going to let those last three thongs go for a few more days on here as they aren't super important. If no one buys them they will just get stuffed in a box somewhere...
