Devil May Cry 4 Comes to Xbox360 Options

Capcom is going with Microsoft lately, this isn't something that come out of the blue, voices of this "switch" from exclusive to multi platform already spreaded some time ago.

We'll see, anyway Capcom could get in troubles with this, because they are playing too much with their titles, and their Sony counterpart could get in the "fire" between them and Sony.

This is great... DMC was one of the very few reasons I bought a PS2

Exclusives (or semi-exclusives) Sony has lost so far:

-Assassin's Creed
-Devil May Cry
-Grand Theft Auto
-Guitar Hero
-Import Tuner Challenge (Tokyo Highway Battle)
-Lumines
-Resident Evil
-Ridge Racer
-Rumble Roses
-Samurai Warriors
-Tomb Raider
-Virtua Fighter

Big ones Still to come:
-Tekken
-Metal Gear Solid
-Final Fantasy

While I'm sure these games will be just as good gameplay and graphics wise on either the PS3 or the Xbox 360, The gamerscore whore in me is happy to see these franchises come to the 360 so I can play my games and earn points too.

The PS3 will always have:
-EverQuest
-Gran Torismo
-God of War
-ICO (Shadow of the Colossus)
-Jak and Dexter
-Killzone
-Parappa
-SOCOM
-Syphon Filter
-Twisted Metal
-Warhawk
-Wipeout

Some pretty good series but they need to make good use of them, and add some new good franchises if they want to stay competitive. Nearly everything else is subject to diversify into other platforms.

At least there is hood cam. I like it low though, or in car, owell. And I take it back, I'll be playing this game.

Nevermind, I found it. Wow, Shane Kim might have really dropped the ball with Heavenly Sword. Well, that might just end up being my first retail game purchase on the PS3. Right now my PS3 is a 600 dollar Tekken machine.

LOL, the PS3 might end up being just a Final Fantasy machine.
(Although I wouldn't be surprised if FFXIII found its way to our machine now that Sakaguchi's calling Square out on it).
There's been rumors that the Iron Fist Tournament might be coming to the X360

The jury might be still out on Heavenly Sword, but like the 1up guys said in that interview with Shane Kim;
The X360 needs more God of War like games. So it makes very little sense to pass up on Heavenly Sword.

Sony owns the rights to the Metal Gear Solid series, it's a SCE title for christs sake! WE WILL NEVER SEE THIS TITLE ON THE XBOX 360. Final Fantasy 13 maybe, but not MGS.

Capcom will only benefit from it. Just look at the boost both Dead Rising and Lost Planet have given the company? Before Dead Rising, Capcom was actually contemplating selling out.
Now the Dead have given new life to Capcom

Yeah they need to dig into their own back catalog of IP for new games. Sega has this same problem too, Burning Rangers, lots of great Saturn and Dreamcast IP few know about but could be easily resurected, a good House of the Dead again?

Also Wipeout is owned by Psygnosis or was at some time. They had Wipeout for the Sega Saturn and Wipeout 64 for the N64. I'm not so sure this is such a Sony exclusive.

it is pretty much proven that the 360 is easier to develop for, so it makes sense that developers are ok with making games for the 360 as well. not to mention that $ony have f-ed up time and time again with the ps3. keep the $ony exclusives coming! my 360 loves it.

just to be sure, i think he meant the view with the dashboard and wheel and everything. That view is NOT the norm for car sims on the scale of GT and forza. Its normal for PGR that dont have as much cars to model. Im sure the bumper cam will be there though.

It started Multiplatform but before Legend it was PS2/PC exclusive

AFAIK Sony bought and currently owns Psygnosis

I definitly agree on the Sega thing though..

But hey... they're releasing a new version of NiGHTs for the Wii... which will be friggin SWEEET!

I want to see a 3rd Shenmue with parts 1 and 2 redone in the new engine come out for the 360
I want to see Chu Chu rocket in the XBLA
I want to see Space Channel 5 part 3
I want to see HOTD4 (which is rumored to be coming)

a new Burning Rangers, Fighting Vipers, etc. They do have a lot of good IP.
