If 0800 firmware is uploaded to a 360 dvd drive, with 360xkey installed and the bin file all proper in the SD card

Will that setup then successfully full rip ?

You might want to check the Xkey forums but unless something has happened recently I don't think you can do that. You need to connect your xbox drive with the 0800 firmware to a PC and use xbox backup creator.
